Tech Tip #4--ATV Electrical Connectors need grease
Solution Tip for all of your wiring. Get a tube of high quality electrical (dielectric) grease. Easily found at your local NAPA store. We recommend that you go through all connectors and grease them up. We even open up the handlebar switch and grease it. Water is not a good mix for the handlebar switch and rain pouring in the handlebar switch will eventually cause failure and you will be ordering a replacement. GREASE THOSE CONNECTORS! Electrical grease only---no automotive grease.
