Tech Tip #12--Find Your Kid When Riding
Solution We have a younger rider that likes to wander all over the farm on his mini-falcon 90. We have spent many times looking for him or wondering where he disappeared to when riding. In the old days a cow bell was used to attach to a wandering kid or livestock to easily locate them. We got out the drill with a 3/8 drill bit and began modifying the too-quiet exhaust system on the mini falcon 90. We drilled several holes in the rear of the exhaust to make it louder and also increased performance by doing so. Now we can listen outside to find out what part of the back 40 that our little test rider is muddin at and the noise was not increased that much to make it annoying.
