What Kind of oil to use-synthetic?
Solution The best oil to use is automotive type 20w50 Valvoline or any high quality motor oil.

Synthetics? We are asked about synthetics quite frequently. It is NOT safe to use a synthetic oil in a Meerkat or Falcon 110 ATV's or any type of engine that has a wet-clutch inboard. Those clutch plates are bathed in oil and do not perform well with a super slippery type of synthetic oil.

You CAN use synthetics in the CVT style engines such as the watercooled 250s or the 150 Falcon or Dingo ATV's. Those engines do not have a wet clutch. NOTE: There has been some discussion lately about synthetics being used in all atv engines. We welcome any information on this subject. Please contact us if you come across anything on this subject.
